Wiener Pass Egal Briefwahl: mehrsprachige Infos

The human rights organisation SOS Mitmensch has kicked off its election action „Pass Egal Wahl“ which can be roughly translated as  „vote whatever nationality“ to draw attention to the exclusion of about a one third of Vienna’s population from the Vienna City elections in October.

The Vienna “Pass Egal Wahl” takes place from August 17th to October 6th. Regardless of their passport, everyone who lives in Vienna and is 16 years or older can vote! The parties that are running for the Viennese state elections are on the "Pass Egal" ballot. Due to the corona pandemic, we ask you to primarily participate by postal vote this year!

The "Pass Egal Wahl" postal vote works like this:

1. Get a small envelope (format C6, 114 mm x 162 mm) and a large envelope (format C5, 162 mm x 229 mm).
2. Download the voting and identification slip HERE. Then print it out and cut it apart.
3. First fill out the voting slip and put it in the small envelope. Seal the envelope.
4. Put the sealed small envelope in the large envelope.
5. Then fill out the identification slip and put it in the large envelope.
